The first time we ever heard about the Neti Pot was at a meditation class 6-7 years ago. I remember clearly our reaction when explained on how it was used it was “how gross, yuck” all the usual sayings when you explain to people how to use it. About a year later Sandra & Rick ran into the instructor at a market and as they were potters she asked them if they would make some Neti Pots so, we thought we would give them a try & haven’t looked back since. I suffer with really bad sinus. Every year especially around early spring I end up with severe sinus infections, going to the doctors and taking antibiotics. I must mention that some people do tend to use the Neti Pot only when they get to this point & I was one of those people. Well, last year I decided to Neti every day, morning and night. I did this for the whole year & when spring came NO SINUS. Sandra and I were going overseas for 7 weeks & I was concerned because last time I went I was sick for a week with severe sinus infection. I took the trusty ceramic pot with me & thank goodness because travelling on the plane can get pretty stuffy and your sinuses can become very dry & uncomfortable. I used the Neti throughout my holiday which in turn gave me a wonderful sinus, hay fever, colds/flu free holiday. So if you suffer with any upper respiratory illnesses like hay fever, sinus, coldsflu, asthma etc then the Neti Pot is for you. It’s all natural, no chemicals just a saline solution. |
